Recycling Information and Schedules Monmouth County Recycling has published a new “Resident’s Recycling Guide” booklet. It contains a vast amount of recycling information and copies are available in Borough Hall and the Library. Please Note: The Public Works Yard is monitored by surveillance cameras and dumping of any illegal materials will be reported to authorities. Questions about disposal of specific items or materials should be directed to Borough Hall at 732-842-2400. Important Trash and Recycling Information For All Residents Bulk collection is always your second pickup of the week and includes furniture and carpeting. No more than three items can be placed at the curb per pickup and must be placed to the curb the night before, along with any regular trash. No appliances, electronics or construction material permitted. No more than three items per week. Single-Stream Recycling Bottles, cans, plastic, newspaper, small cardboard and mixed paper can all be placed in the same container. Cardboard that is too large for a container should be flattened, tied and placed next to the container.
