Generators should be used in well ventilated locations outside away from all doors, windows and vent openings. Never use a generator in an attached garage, even with the door open. Phone Scam Warning (pdf)
The Little Silver Police Department has received numerous complaints regarding an aggressive and sophisticated phone scam targeting taxpayers, including recent immigrants, which has been making the rounds throughout the country. Callers claim to be employees of the IRS, but are not. These con artists can sound convincing when they call. They use fake names and bogus IRS identification badge numbers. They may know a lot about their targets, and they usually alter the caller ID to make it look like the IRS is calling.
Do not give any information to unsolicited phone callers at any time. Please click below for more information.
