Functions Of Planning Board Created by State Statute known as the Land Use Law, Little Silver’s Planning Board, comprised of volunteers, is a united Board, serving as both Planning and Zoning Boards, hearing commercial and residential applications. In addition to commercial site plans, minor and major subdivisions, use and residential variances and sign applications, the Board is responsible for reviewing all proposed changes to the Borough’s Land Use and Development Ordinance as well as the Borough’s Master Plan. Agendas and approved Minutes are posted on this website so that the public can keep up with what is going on in town and in their neighborhoods. General zoning information and many of the needed applications and forms are posted on the website.
