SUMMER REC COUNSELOR JOB 2012

Applications are now being accepted thru March 31 for the summer job of rec camp counselor.

Applicants must have completed 9th grade and be available to work the entire 6 week program from June 25 to August 3.

Please be advised that last summer there were only 2 openings and at this time we are not certain if there will be any openings this summer.

New Fertilizer Laws

In its continuing efforts to protect our waterways and general environment, the State has instituted new regulations for use of fertilizers. Residents are urged to educate themselves on these regulations, and also make sure your lawn and landscape services are aware and abiding by them. It�s important to note that professional lawn care services may not apply fertilizers from December 1st to March 31st. Lawn care professionals are also required to complete training and become certified, or be supervised by a certified individual. Dog & Cat Licenses Due January 31 - Late fee now applies

During the month of January, Borough Ordinance requires the licensing of all dogs and cats. Licenses can be obtained at the Borough Clerk's office, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Note: License renewals after January 31 must include $5 (per animal) late fee.

Please note: The 2012 Recycling Schedule included in December Newsletter inadvertently omitted column headings. The headings under each Zone should include "Glass-Cans-Plastics" on the first column of dates, and "Cardboard-Newspaper" on the second column of dates. Tax Office Notice:

The State�s Homestead Benefit program, for property tax year 2010, will be provided to eligible residential property owners as a tax credit to their 1st quarter, Feb. 2012 payment. �Adjusted� bills will be mailed by Jan. 1 to qualified properties.
